Well... Tifa won. So here's a teaser!

That poll has been surprisingly controversial! I knew some people would be bored with Tifa, but moreso than I imagined. I know I also have a lot of fans who wanted to see her. She was definitely part of why I gained popularity when I started.
I was actually feeling motivated to animate something with her so I included her in the poll, despite knowing she would most likely win. I also wanted to see how popular she was in relation to some other characters.
Don't distress though! I'm very much interested in doing a Marie Rose animation soon, as well as Mona. I also want to do Kasumi so these will all be upcoming future scenes.
With that out of the way, I've never done this full nelson pose. It's always seemed like a great pose so I'll be incorporating it into the Tifa animation. Also a little throwback to the Don Corneo scene, since I actually have the real room this time!

I know that was a whole thing a little while ago, but I find it really jarring when non-canonical elements are utilized. I really like the idea of a "what if it went wrong at Don Corneo's" setting.

2021-10-25 23:49:31 +0000 UTCIf I may make a suggestion, while I love Tifa and many ofthe FF girls, perhaps make it so the last winner isn't in the next voting line up OR you can have the votes for a specific character carry over so that they have a better chance of winning next ttime. So for example, if say Samus had 4 votes last time, she would start the next voting session with 4 votes already alotted to her. This gives less popular girls a chance to be animated vs those who are absurdly popular like Tifa. Love your work, and looking forward to your next animation regardless.

Full-nelson is a great one, and I think another good one would be a mating press. Maybe include some hair pulling or choking to spice things up. Whatever you want!
