I believe your thinking of the christmas truce in ww1 where enemy and allied forces put their weapons down in an unofficial truce shared rations cigarettes probably some alcohol and hung out in no mans land.

I am also here for your Archer, Futurama and South Park reactions. This show starts off seemingly simple enough but it grows on itself adding more awesome characters and lore with lots of callbacks and pop culture references. I hope you enjoy the journey as I did! Oh, the guy in the red track suit is supposed to be a goof on the Six Million Dollar Man, a 1970's tv show I watched as a kid, and they had Bionic Big Foot in a few episodes.
