Heads up! And future plans.
Added 2022-04-03 04:59:36 +0000 UTCChapters are going up in just a bit. I apologise for the wait, but it took me a bit longer to get into the swing of things are my break, then I got a bit too into things hehe OT will be a little longer this week, about five hundred words more in the bonus section.
With the RR writathon now upon us, this will mean that both OT and MS will have ATLEAST one extra chapter released during the next five-six ish weeks in addition to normally released content. The reason I am bringing this up is that I was considering writing a 0.5 chapter that leads somewhat better into the first chapter of Ogre Tyrant. A slice of Tim's life before being pushed off the roof and arriving in the Labyrinth, and a bonus section slice of something interesting.
I'll put a poll up to see if it's something you guys and gals would be interested in. I'll do a poll on RR too, but your votes will have ten times the weight/voting power. Just bear in mind that RR's annoying limitation when uploading means the chapter will initially be listed as the latest before I can move it to a different position in the order. This would mean losing currently read progress markers on RR. Just something to keep in mind.
Mana Soul is entering its end game, ish, soft sixteen-ish chapters to go. I don't want to rush things, but that's the general storyboarded timeline.
I have another writing project lined up, even have cover art for it too, with two variants to vote on for the title xD But that won't be happening for a while yet.
Once Mana Soul reaches its stopping point, I intend to focus more on Ogre Tyrant again, dividing my attention between the regular releases and tidying up the earlier chapters. After the tidying, or perhaps during, I will build the buffer up again and then drop additional content releases after I reach my own arbitrary safety net hehe. During that time I will also be working on my next project as well. having alternate creative options as an outlet can be challenging sometimes, but I find that on the whole it really helps me from burning out on my interests.
My next project, after Mana Soul, will be more of a sci-fi cyberpunk, light dystopia, mecha kind of deal with a much more structured lit rpg componRPG to it. Chapters are going to be roughly half of OT and MS, at 3000-3500-ish words, but released 3-4 times a week. Haven't made up my mind on the exact days that would be on, but it's a while off yet.
