256 One Piece: My Name is Jack

As they watched people sobbing and embracing their long-lost loved ones, the Marines stood in stunned silence.
"I'm back! I'm back!"
The couple clung to each other in a desperate embrace, their joy short-lived as the man turned to glance at the man beside her, holding a child by the hand. Reality struck her like a thunderbolt.
"... But I've already married! I... I have a child now!"
"What?! No... it can't be!"
Bam!
"Doflamingo! The Donquixote Family! I'll kill you all! Every last one of you!"
The Marines collectively bowed their heads in silent mourning. Yet, tragedies like his were unfolding all over Dressrosa.
A woman was surrounded by a group of men, her past unknown, but the torment she had suffered was unmistakable.
Doflamingo felt a mix of sorrow and relief.
Sorrow, because Sugar had been knocked out by Yamato's Haki. Relief, because Jack was here, ensuring things wouldn't spiral completely out of control. At worst, they could eliminate these pests and have Sugar turn them back into toys afterward.
"Young Master!" a subordinate rushed in, panic-stricken. "It's bad! The Mera Mera no Mi has fallen into the hands of Sabo from the Revolutionary Army! And—many pirates are joining forces to attack us!"
"The citizens, too! Under King Riku's leadership, they're rising against us!"
Doflamingo's brows knitted into deep furrows.
"Fufufufufu! Fufufufufu!"
"Do these weaklings truly believe that gathering together will let them stand against the strong?"
His expression darkened.
"Fools! I'll teach them a lesson they'll never forget! No matter how many sheep there are, they will never be a match for a lion!"
"Send word—mobilize all officers!"
From inside the castle, Jack glanced out the window at the enormous birdcage forming above the city. He hesitated only for a moment before resuming his battle. There was no need to overthink things. If something urgent happened, someone would call for him.
Besides, thanks to his rigorous training, Doflamingo had grown stronger. His physical endurance had improved significantly, and he'd mastered both Advanced Conqueror's Haki and Advanced Armament Haki. A few small-time pirates shouldn't be a problem for him.
If Garp made a move, Jack would know.
Dressrosa was drowning in chaos—shrieks of despair, the roar of cannon fire, the clashing of steel. The city had become a battlefield of sheer destruction.
Thousands of men and women, faces twisted in rage, charged under King Riku's command, attacking the Donquixote Family's forces. But more citizens, terrified for their lives, fled back into their homes, locking their doors tight.
To them, survival was the only goal. The Donquixote Family's dominance was deeply ingrained in their minds. Under Doflamingo's rule, their lives had been far better than during King Riku's reign. Those who had not lost family to the toy curse had no reason to stand against him.
Many secretly hoped that the Donquixote Family would quickly restore order and bring Dressrosa back to its former peace.
BOOM!
A massive club swung through the air, sending several pirates flying. Yamato stood tall, facing down the swarm of enemies, her expression livid.
"Get out of my way, you bastards!"
"Damn you! You wretched woman!"
"If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have been turned into toys!"
"Do you have any idea what we've been through these past three years?!"
"I was playing basketball on my ship when I was captured! I spent two and a half years as a toy!"
"I was a toy for a whole year!"
Yamato rolled her eyes. "You lot are nothing but ruthless, bloodthirsty pirates!"
"I could have killed you all, but I was kind enough to let Sugar turn you into toys instead!"
"Kind?!" one pirate bellowed. "You're a pirate too! What gives you the right to do this to us?!"
"Your Beasts Pirates are even more notorious than we are! Why target us?!"
Yamato lifted her kanabo high and roared, "Because I'm stronger than you pathetic weaklings!"
BOOM!
With the pirates dealt with, Yamato hoisted Sugar onto her back, preparing to head to the royal palace. But before she could take a step, a panicked voice called out.
"Save me! Save me!"
Caesar Clown, dragged along by Sanji, flailed desperately.
"It's me, Caesar! Caesar!"
Sanji's lovestruck gaze lingered on Yamato for a moment, but as soon as he saw her club, his heart-shaped pupils vanished. He didn't hesitate—he grabbed Caesar and bolted.
"Help! Murder!" Sanji yelled. "Robin-chwan!"
Meanwhile, the battle raged on. But with the Straw Hats' overwhelming strength, the tide quickly turned in their favor.
With his comrades' help, Luffy finally freed Law and came face-to-face with Doflamingo.
"Mingo! I'm here to avenge Corazon!"
"You evil bastard!"
Doflamingo smirked. "Fufufufufu! How naive, brat!"
"You still don't understand the difference between us!"
"Weaklings who cling to the pain of others will only meet their own demise!"
Luffy held back the raging Law, adjusting his straw hat as he bellowed,
"Turning people into toys! Stealing their homes! I won't stand for it!"
"You may be a pirate, but I'm nothing like you!"
Doflamingo clutched his forehead, laughing maniacally.
"Fufufufufu! You think you're different? Do you believe you represent justice?"
"Justice always wins? Ridiculous. Only the victors decide what justice is!"
"Good and evil? Those are concepts dictated by the ones standing at the top!"
"You brats, who've never even seen war, dare to preach to me?! How aggravating!"
Swish!
Boom!
Before Luffy or Law could react, Doflamingo vanished from sight. In an instant, he struck, sending Law flying with a single kick. Luffy barely had time to register what had happened before Doflamingo's fist slammed into his gut, forcing him to his knees.
"Weak! Too weak!"
"Who gave you the audacity to challenge me?!"
"Damn you, Mingo!"
Law and Luffy, refusing to back down, charged at Doflamingo again. But after being trained by Jack, Doflamingo had pushed himself to the absolute limit. His strength was now on par with King. The two young pirates fought fiercely, but as time dragged on, exhaustion took its toll.
Breathing heavily, they lay sprawled on the ground.
"Foolish brats!"
Doflamingo sneered, lifting his foot to deliver the final blow.
"Let your naive ideals be buried along with you!"
BAM!
A sudden figure appeared, sending Doflamingo flying with a single punch.
Luffy, battered and barely conscious, widened his eyes in shock.
"Grandpa?!"
