The next build will probably just add more masks and nothing more, I want to spend some time with the Classic Costume Pack for RE-Remake, the Deadly Silence Costumes.
As always you will need the Mediakite Release of Resident Evil for PC and the Classic REbirth patch for this mod to work.
Whats new?
- Masks: The whole guardhouse now has working masks. Fixed some of them from mansion that I missed.
- Backgrounds: Add a few more new backgrounds.
- Textures: Some doors and the main hall stairs now have a pixelated look.
- Sound FX: New sound for the footsteps, no more wong wong when you walk.
- FMVs: Capcom logo video was remade again to fill the whole screen.
Again unfortunately the Classic REbirth patch does not support video files replacement mods yet, so you will have to replace the original files for you to use this one, make a back up of your movie folder first. See more in the Installation section.
Installation:
- Download the .7z file from the link I sent.
- Extract the .7z in the game folder. You should end up with a folder called mod_Gameboy in the game folder.
- Inside the mod_Gameboy folder you will find a folder called "Movies" copy this folder and paste it in the game folder and replace the files if necesary.
- Run the game and select the mod from the mod list like in the picture. You need to select the one that say [DEV] at the beginning.
- I recommend playing the game using the retro mode of Classic REbirth for a fully pixelated experience.
