two "sl44n3sh" style illustrations
I am a bit distracted lately with the maintenance of old hardware, a new job and non-drawing related projects. One of em is me trying to figure out how to get a local AI server up to check if the recent coloring models hold what they promise.
So far 1 out of 3 times new LLM stuff is useful so maybe there is a chance. One model is ok in reusing characters. With the new approach known as ghibli filter it gets harder and harder to compete. The sheer amount of output machines can create is nothing an artist can match. But maybe it will also help getting stuff done lets see.
btw if you have any requests for AI images, fell free to ask, I ll check if the models I use can generate it. (usually I have no Lora of specific characters )

Your argument against AI for artists reminds me of Amazon and Walmart vs Mom & Pop shops. Amazon and Walmart will always out-bid a local shop trying to compete, but specialty stores will always reign supreme. You can't buy and tune a Piano at Walmart. The same is true for AI. AI always looks a bit "off". Even the most advanced stuff still looks off. Nothing yet seems to master the concept of the original artist.
