I have tried EVA many times, I mean the TV series, robots are cool, girls are cute but 真嗣（shiji？can't remember his name）and his father are bullshit they just keep annoying me. So I give up watching it every time. For DIF problem, I think just because the story itself is really BAD.

The Manga is definitely the best version of the story. the movies are a bit like most 3 part of movies, starts great, 2nd builds it up (well in the Eva caste you start to wonder what and why) and the 3rd is a dumpster fire (Alien 3, Return of the Ewoks while they d call it part 6 now, Lord of the rings 3 but what they did with NGE 3.33 is the worst ) the old EoE movies were ok. Can t understand how fans were so upset with Eva copies like Guilty Gear and Darling in the franxx.
