2025-08-02 02:55:19 +0000 UTCI thought it was really good. Not quite loved it but close. The entire cast was fantastic and did an amazing job. I would say the two sticking points are I wanted Riri to have more time with Parker's crew before the big turn. It would have made it more impactful but that's the price all these short season shows have. The other thing is ending felt too ambiguous. That final scene I wasn't sure if what was happening was really happening or an illusion that [redacted] was showing Riri. It's rumored that the previously shelved Strange Academy show might be a-go again which would be awesome!! I think Zelma is a BIG reason if we get that. I'd love to see her and Jennifer Kale as teachers for America and Billy. Maybe have it set on a regular NYC campus and they take magic classes alongside their non-magical classes. (Yes, I was already thinking of a fan fic where Wiccan and Hulkling meet at college and fall for each other as Billy and Teddy but are pitted against each other as Wiccan and Hulkling. Working in a Strange Academy-like setting actually fits into it even better! 😂)
