Of Raffles and Games

In other news, I've been kind of working on a proof of concept game thing to see if I can stitch together a working 2D platformer. So far I got movement and shooting down. :D

But see, the free slots would still be considered raffle like. At least I would think so. And I do have commission discounts! Was one of the first things I added ^^ Someone else recommended exclusive streaming but I don't know if Picarto would support something like that. Another was having a patreon discord server. I'm not sure though.

2018-03-26 17:47:55 +0000 UTCYikes, Samus jumps a lot higher than I remember. ;) The jumping feels pretty good so far! I like how momentum is conserved but you still have mid-air control. It's hard to tell exactly what it's really going to feel like without platforms to hop on, but so far so good! One little "issue": was building it with VR support intentional? The OVR/SteamVR support libraries are there and it is definitely launching the Oculus software when I fire it up (no output on the HMD, though).
