Failed sketch... but I learned something!
Added 2017-07-10 02:04:27 +0000 UTCSometimes, no matter how good you are feeling about your skills, you just hit a road block. This pic was one of them. I Worked and reworked this drawing several times, and even got it to this stage of clean lines... But in the end, it just didn't convey the message I wanted. I think it has something to do with her face being out of shot, or something like that... Either way, it really didn't have the effect I wanted... So, I scrapped it, and started over. DX
Coincidentally, the version that I finally finished ended up using the same background as the last one, as you will see in the next post... But it just had the feeling I was going for. I'll explain more in the next post, I just wanted to share this failed sketch, because even though I am not happy with the composition and feeling of it, I love how her pose turned out. Oh well, can't win em all!
