Pinup Sketch (October, Week 1)

Well, a couple of you showed interest in seeing "Elven Archer" (man, I really need a name for her!), so here she is! This month will be dedicated to her, with a series of scenic shots like this. Maybe a bit less "tits and ass" sexy than usual (lol), but hey, maybe it's sexy in a different way. ;)
Still considering adding some stuff going on in the background. It's probably going to be raining, in the final version, hence her cloak. Oh, and speaking of which, it might look weird that her quiver strap is going through the cloak, but that's exactly what it's doing. She has a slit cut into it that allows her cloak to still flow free. I referenced the way Legolas's cloak does that, from lord of the rings. :D

Sometimes it's just about exploring a world I really want to be in, and meeting interesting characters that I want to learn more about. The cool thing about these pieces for me is that every time I do one, I get ideas for several more, and so it really snowballs. They do take quite a bit longer to do, though! But it's where I want my art to be, most of the time. The rest of the time can be cute girls being all sexy n' stuff. XD

I'm excited about this month's fantasy adventure!

I guess I just see everyone else doing it, and instead of jumping on the bandwagon, I get bored of the idea, prematurely. XD I don't mean to be a hipster, I swear!
