Thumbelina (term 30)
Added 2016-02-18 01:21:14 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite childhood fairy tales ^_^ ! wanted to do a painting on her. Looked up some reference on water drops on leaves (wasnt too sure how to paint them) , was very helpfull :D references are the best !fun fantasy painting : ) I wanted to put something in there for size comparison, so I though a hand would do the trick XD Anyways thats just my take on everything.

Means you thought outside the box of what she could possibly look like. Her freckles are just plain adorable. <3

You wouldn't guess that you weren't sure how to paint them, because they look like they have been painted with the natural ease and skill that you approach with all your paintings. Beautiful composition and colouring too. Just so much to love about this.

2016-02-18 01:27:18 +0000 UTCBugger me, this is fantastic, lovely colours, the bumblebee and his blurred wings, the water droplets (bruh... those water droplets though), the little dress and the way it transitions from one colour to another, just brilliant. And Thumbelina gerself looks great of course, have a personal fondness for freckles so that's a nice bonus.
