Added 2015-11-24 01:02:51 +0000 UTCAh some avatar art is long over due, one of my favorit series *_* ! Toph is definitely got my heart <3 She's awesome ! This is a more older version of her : ) experimenting with perspective shots, and more dynamic angles and such : ) it's getting there!

2015-11-24 15:34:44 +0000 UTCGood job! Great to see a more dynamic and different angle, you should try these more often. This one shows you can obviously do them as good as 'calmer' portraits! Feedback (though I can't draw anything like this, so it is not as constructive as I would like it to be, sry): I feel like her left upper arm has a visible difference in lighting/texture/detail (can't put my finger on it) compared to the rest of her skin. Also: 4 to go to (later) Team Avatar :D *cough* 2nd also: Korra x Asami *cough*

There is a lot of power portrayed here and it is a good reminder that with the right amount of determination and confidence you can accomplish just about anything. I'd like to see what you could with some of the antagonists in the series.

2015-11-24 02:45:45 +0000 UTCA power portrait for a powerhouse character! I love how fluid the dirt and mud is moving around her body. Your shading and use of color is so well done that this piece looks like it could come to life any second. One of the best things about Toph was her love of getting down and dirty to win, and you've captured that perfectly! One thing I'd say is that the perspective on her waist seems off. It might just be that garment around her hips is throwing me off, but it looks like her legs are twisted further to her left than her torso should allow. Even so, fabulous work! (Also, do you prefer getting comments here or on Deviant Art?)

The only critique I'd have is her headpiece and massive hairbun seem a bit out of perspective. I think it needs to be tilted a bit more to the right and back - but either way, love it!
