Is the Hero10 Black any better?

I'll have to try it out at Berm Park to really see if I like the 10. I'm sure Seth can get me in early... for testing cameras, of course. :D

I'd personally love to see trail riding techniques in slow motion. There are somethings better seen then explained (how to do a wheelie, how to go through a berm, how to jump, how to land, etc.)

I have an old GoPro someone gave me (I used it once and it sits on my desk.) So I'm not exactly the demographic for the latest and greatest. However, I like how you cut right to the key elements, quickly and clearly. GoPro should be very happy with what you've done here.

Yes, it's the same camera as the 9 with some feature differences and a new chip. All the media mods and batteries are the same.

haha! It should be the same as the 9. With a GoPro subscription they will just keep on replacing it for you now, so I don't know how worth it a stress test will be. I've only broken one GoPro beyond repair, and that was the 3 when I went surfing with it with the wrong case on it!

The Max Lens will do horizon lock to 45 degrees on the 10

Yeah the audio hasn't changed at all. I think you need to go for the media mod to make that work, and then it's the size of a point and shoot.

Almost every time I load in new footage of my Hero 8 — if I remember to set the white balance — I am astonished at how good the footage looks. It just gets better and better.

Do you know if the max lens mod will now do horizon lock in 4k? I'm assuming they didn't send you one to test? I think that's going to be the savoir of chest mounted footage, which I still prefer personally.

I always like to tell the story of how I got possibly the best deal ever on a GoPro. A few years ago some folks in my neighborhood retired and moved closer to their kids. They took what they wanted from their house and left it up to a estate sale firm to sale the rest. We stop in and I'm shuffling through boxes of random stuff when I come across a plastic bag with a GoPro Hero 5 Session, mounts, and other goodies. There was so much stuff in the estate sale not everything was priced so I go ask for a price. I'm expecting to hear $50 or possibly a low price of $25. When I ask, the people running the sale don't even know what it is and offer it to me for $2. Normally when I find random things at estate sales I ask my wife if I should get the weird gadget I've found. This time she knew I found a deal when I came to her with it and said "I'm getting this"

What about the audio. I feel like the GoPro does a terrible job accurately recording voices ever since it went waterproof. They all seem to muffle higher notes.

Hey Seth. Does the 10 use the same battery as the 9? I have 3 batteries for the 9 and the dual charger. Would hate to give that up. The most appealing feature that would get me to upgrade is the 4K 120. Def an improvement worth noting. Thanks.
