She uses Adobe Photoshop. Adobe has since changed to a subscription model for their Creative Suites products. CS6 is the last version they made available for direct purchase - but I warn you - it's EXPENSIVE. CS6 has a million places you can get it as it's a single one-time purchase, and you can buy it pretty much anywhere that sells software. CS Creative Cloud (technically just Creative Cloud or CC for short) is only available through Adobe directly. I won't go into the pros and cons of versions and pricing models here, but the short of it is Adobe Photoshop is built and priced with professionals in mind. There are plenty of options out there that are much cheaper (one of the most popular being GIMP, which is free). You might not have all the functions, but there is no reason you can't get into digital art! :D And with that, I'm done spamming Sakimi's board. :p

I've know other artists that went to a direct pay-per-tutorial model and watched their funding get cut drastically. At that point instead of looking it from an angle of supporting an artist, many see it as dollars and numbers with "what is that object worth to me"? I for one have a harder time swallowing even a dollar or two for a single digital work even if that's what this current model averages out to be... the structure of support and the chance of developing a rapport with Sakimichan far outweighs the convenience of a dry download for me. It is indeed a matter of opinion, though happily Sakimichan is getting tons of support under this model. :D As for the waiting - I don't consider it like that. It's not like you're paying and then waiting: You're out nothing and it's not like you get nothing. All the while you get to see the works Sakimichan has been doing along with teasers and sometimes full files. Once the month is out and you have actually been charged, Sakimichan sends a message with the links to download all the content. Unfortunately Sakimichan had to limit the tier that allows for past files and tutorials to keep it manageable, but people will also likely cycle through that as they complete their backlogged collection. Just get the current tier and once a slot opens, upgrade to catch up!

Patreon goes by term, and only charges at the end of the month, so it wouldn't matter if you join at the beginning or the end of a term, as long as you support that term and pay, you're covered as Sakimi Chan only gets paid at the end in either case. Due to that same token, why wait to sign up? Saving up $10-20 by the end of the month should be easy for most people, and the quality of the work is more than worth it from her! :D

this system doesn't works best make a website and sell your tutorials here, because this way you lose many customers. i need to wait a long time to download the tutorials and i can't download old tutorials :/

Jose Potey

are the old videos upload about the tutorial for noses, eyes and heads?

Jose Potey

Could you tell me what programe you use and/or where can I get it?

May I ask a question? If I become your patreon in 4 -3 days it won't be too late for me to get all term 5?

The Sakimichan intro is slightly corny - I'd personally suggest either going simpler (Typography is in, Word Art is dead), or something more complex integrating your own actual art. I always am impressed by your painting methods and how you combine natural painting blending with the power of the tools to keep it clean and well proportioned. Quite different than the way I learned, but I like it better and your videos have been a great tool in learning it! Though not sure if I'll ever reach your level of skill that borders on magic. One character I haven't seen from you yet (unless you have it buried in one of your many social/profile sites you have scattered), is Rikku from FF X or X-2. Happy-go-lucky and innocent with cute spirally green eyes, she's one of my favorite characters of all time. :D
