I genuinely prefer this setting, even if it's a fucking pain to setup properly in a cramped space and you're forced to 'just' do a 1 light 2 chairs and lets go kind of setup. Seeing new commentaries were coming, around Xmas last year I joined the Patreon and man, I've been holding off until there were a few, but DAMN! Thank you and Sebby, and crew, for not only just making commentaries, but full blown stories and actual quality content. As a long time fan, plus someone who grew up before corporations dictated what words were allowed, like how Jim Florentine talks about if Special Ed appeared in a pilot for Crank Yankers today, it would be shitcanned, I relate to so much of what you guys talk about. It's also delightful, truly, that you're both aware of fans being more well versed with the shows and numbers, etc, as we watch them often. Watching these commentaries, it feels like reconnecting with an old friend and sharing laughter at the brilliance that we all miss. It has inspired me to pull out a fan project I was working on before YouTube started deleting all the KvS videos a few years back. Fwiw, my favorite episodes fall into 2 categories. 1) Stand alone 2) Long time reward. Like in It's Always Sunny, where after about 5-6 seasons, there's the episode where the camera pans to Dee and she's an actual ostrich, that would be how I'd define category 2. Think I've included the ones I return to the most. Season 1 is more tame, as has been discussed a lot in commentaries/etc, so I generally leave them longer before rewatching them. In no particular order Stand alone: - Chicken on head - Fun - Fish - Arm Wrestling - Funnier - Gorilla - Goat - Stain - I personally would call this the one I watch the most. It has everything, "I beg you, change the channel." "They will change the channel if you don't get your shit together" "I'd like to get my shit together and mush it in your face" hahahahahaha - Wrestler - Touch Breasts - Soldier - Obese - Fart - Cow Long time reward: - Naked - the OG commentary, where you said it was the best thing ever, then Spencer called you a sadistic piece of shit, gold. That episode feels like Spenny was mentally already 5 seasons deep. - Bone More - This, this is sublime. What you did to Spenny here, my god. - Imitate - Probably for me, the personal best episode. Again, it's earlier on in seasons, but feels like it was filmed many seasons later. Priceless. - Boner - the guy at the end, then the humiliation with the joke, hahahaha - Be mean - drugged himself, enough said. - Cockfight - Spenny's crew laughing at him whipping it out, hahaha - Who Can - the commentary nailed a lot of this - Weed

I remember seeing the commercials for the shows debut and I got all my friends hyped up to watch the new comp each week. Our favourite episodes were always the raw childlike competitions like: stay awake, don’t touch the ground, don’t laugh, don’t speak. They had the essence of “keeping your hand on the car”. Classic challenges. However beer, weed, imitate, mean and baby are Canadian television gold. Spenny’s drunken fall in beer is just one of a kind.
