and Sukuna flicked him like a fly, with 2-3 fingers worth of power while in Yuji.
Think about that for a minute.

With how many people get hit by Black Flash and live, it's easy to forget that it's supposed to be a devastating exponential increase in force.
Hanami, who was previously too tough to take any damage from nearly anything at all, was dealt consistent substantial damage by it.
Mahito got nailed with it after his Domain and was visibly nerfed by it even in his new form.
Todo got hit with it and only survived because he focussed all of his Cursed Energy to the exact spot where it hit him to cushion the blow, and even then he was still down for the count after it got him.
Yuji....The guy's body is built like a damn Nokia, so he doesn't count.
Point is, that last Black Flash from him was a god damn MAX FLASH, he put everything into that one shot and it's been confirmed that if he missed that chance he and Todo would have died and every other Sorcerer without a Domain would be screwed against Mahito. Yuji was the ONE GUY that could beat him, and he still went down like a fucking raid boss.

Fun Fact: The time lag impact that hit Mahito was on purpose. The anime cut this narration for time, but in the manga it was explained that Divergent Fist, the oddity of Yuji's cursed energy not being able to keep up with his inexplicably superhuman body and causing a double impact effect when he hit things, is now something he can do on command.
It isn't explained or even implied exactly WHEN he learned this, but Yuji isn't the type to improvise like that on the spot since he's still relatively inexperienced compared to those who've done this longer than him, so it cold be that he'd learned to control the time lag after he first learned Black Flash and just didn't find it useful until his fight with Choso and this fight here.
That's just speculation though, he also could have just improv'd it, who knows.
