My favorite thing about Azula's little "favor" to Zuko is that not only does it screw over Zuko if she somehow failed to kill Aang, but even if it didn't fail it'd mean that Zuko's would be greatest achievement in life was essentially handed to him after years of failure.
Zuko would live the remainder of his days knowing that he couldn't even achieve his so-called "redemption" by his own ability, the favorite child had to come and bail him out and all of his newfound glory wasn't even truly earned.
Even when Azula is nice, she's cruel.

hmm, some interesting callbacks. i'm not sure i've ever noticed before, but the girl watching the fire nation invade from inside the building at 35:21 is jin, the girl zuko had a date with during THAT episode last season. And more obviously you also have than, ying and hope. the family from the serpent pass.
also i'm sure you already figured it out, but remember that azula took control of the dai li, the secret police of the earth kingdom, last season. so those where the guys tearing down the walls of ba sing se, allowing the invaders inside.

ASPD is for sure a spectrum, they just dont use those terms anymore

Curious, could you share where you got this info from? Because from my understanding ASPD is a spectrum.

Your talk about Azula and psychopathy, and sociopathy, I think you should look into more recent explanations of the disorder. Its just ASPD, Antisocial personality disorder, sociopath and psychopath are no longer medically recognized terms, because its the same disorder, and not every person with ASPD is a psycho/socio path. In most groups, those terms are considered slurs. And while Im not a "woke" type person, I think mental health and its effects should be taken seriously. By current definitions, psychopaths and sociopaths dont exist, and its a gross understatement of how the disorder works. It is so much deeper than those simpleton ass movie cliche definitions of the condition.

It's interesting and unfortunately difficult to inspect people prior to being hit and then after π
I mean... we 'could' do it but... you know... ethics and all that

So about being hit by lightning and surviving, about 10% of people hit by lightning die. That leaves 90% alive. Certain things such as where you are, what youre wearing, whether or not youre in a vehicle and whatnot play big parts in it.
But overall, being struck by lightning is an extremely interesting medical phenomenon afterwards. Many people who are struck by lightning have their chronic ailments INSTANTLY cured. Im talking about literally curing trauma induced blindness and shit. Getting hit by lightning can literally bring sight back to some people.
However, of the 90% that survive, a ton of them die suddenly of heart complications later in life.
This makes me think of the medical applications, and whether the risk is worth it. Whether we can make the risk lower. If there was a way to treat and prevent those late life heart complications, we could have literally miracle level treatments for certain issues, and reduce the risk immensely.
There was a guy who was famous for being hit like 11 times times in his life. Him and his family thought they were cursed, and many people that know of him think he was cursed as well.
What they dont know, is that this guy worked at Firewatch towers in a place that storms a lot. He was literally spending his work days in a giant metal tower during lightning storms. No shit the dude got shocked that many times. Everybody else working those towers probably quit after the first time lmao
