and we finally learn about zeke's philosophy. antinatalisms is an interesting school of though, it basically proposes that to live means to suffer and that there's no amount of good in life that can equalize the amount of suffering one has to endure during their lifetime. so, the best thing one can do, is to spare their offspring from the cruelty and suffering of being alive by not having any in the first place.
funny thing is, these days i'm kinda tending to that kind of thinking myself to some degree. with the way the world is and the things we have to look forward to (resource shortages, growing economic inequality, and possible most definitely some mayor wars within the next 10-20 years) it's hard to feel comfortable with the thought of having kids just to have them struggle through all of what's to come with no real hope for the future in sight. one of the reasons i'm still not a dad despite being more than old enough to be one.
btw, if you're interested in a bit of a more in depth view on zeke's philosophy, i posted a link in the reaction requests. should make for a good watch^^
