I guess that little knowledge drop only comes later. At the time it was utter bs Eren went from amateur to pro, but then again he was juicing on titan fluid.

(ymir), beast (zeke), the speaking titan who rescued zeke (as only special titans are intelligent and capable of speech) and the founder (eren). as for why they didn't bring any technology. i can only assume they didn't use any outside technology, since they thought the founding titan still belonged to the royal family and they didn't want to implicit marley and provoke the king into attacking with the wall titans. i don't think it was common knowledge that the king renounced war, so they decided to play it safe. they also didn't know grisha stole the founder and gave it to eren and by the time the found out, there probably wasn't a way to contact back and get supplies delivered. but i know what you're thinking, using the marleyn titans to carry out the attack could have implicated marley as well, but at least for those there is some level of plausible deniability. after all, if the power isn't passed on, marely might have lost those titans and others on paradise might have inherited them, so it could have been an attack from the inside too. but more importantly, those implications at the end... one of the reasons i said previously why eren probably doesn't need any more hand to hand combat lessons is because of the inherited memory from the attack titan. i'm not sure it's 100% confirmed, but i always figured the reason why eren is as effective a fighter in titan form and why he was able to pull of so many fighting moves as easily as he did -i still remember you being upset about eren being able to pull of moves perfectly in his fight against reiner, despite having seen them only once-, was because of the inherited memory of the attack titan.
