Watchmen was a good movie, really enjoy a good story like that which gives you some tough questions and makes you consider things. Yeah, the earlier episodes look very different once you have the context, all the subtext begins to make sense, and throw away lines begin to have meaning too

2022-02-18 12:19:34 +0000 UTChmm, not much to say for this one honestly. we finally learn the truth of things, or at least the propaganda version from both sides. which one is true? who knows, but we're gonna find out eventually. as for what happened to fay... i mean, it could have been worse, if not by much, but man that guy was f*ed in the head. honestly, he probably got off to easy considering everything he did. his death was way too quick, he should have suffered much much more first. and on top of it all, he's a massive hypocrite -not the worst of his crimes, but a massive pet peeve of mine-, or what was that all about "I'll except it when my time has come?" btw, something similar happened in "watchmen" concerning a character named rorschach. he found a similar scene as to what happened to fay and it completely destroyed him. turned him from a vigilante crime fighter to a full blown nihilistic punisher of crime. as he said "that day the human me went inside, but rorhschach was the one who came back out." interesting though that fay used to wear a scarf, similar to mikasa. it runs in the family i guess. i wonder what grisha felt, seeing mikasa like that each day.
