mini blog 🐄 moved, new studio, horse stickers

hello patron ☺ it's likely I'll cover some of this fun info in my upcoming June podcast if you would prefer to listen rather than read but I promise this will be short. Also there will be images in this one which I know is a sweet and epic bonus.

I'm settling into my new apartment in Cleveland, Ohio USA. It's been about two weeks now since I moved. Feeling stupid and annoying to repeat myself because I have said this about 400 times already but I moved into a small apartment with my boyfriend Colin and it's my first time living with a partner 🤯

Colin is also an artist (the plush toy on the left is a sample he is having manufactured) and we've known each other for like 9 stupid years now so our tastes are similar and decorating has been easy and fun.

The view from the apartment is pretty ideallic:

My workspace is kind of temporary right now because I am getting a studio space in the area which I just signed a lease for today. So this is what I'm working with at the time being (and it's pretty cute and enjoyable for being a temporary setup which I might just be saying because of the gorgeous window and natural light). I am not necessarily "settled in" yet.

Little bit of an aside but I wanted to show you my new pen which I have been using pretty obsessively and it's kind of a gorgeous color to me at the moment:

I'm moving into the studio space early next week and I'm building a little bit of a moodboard for it even though it's roughly 200 sq. ft. or something? Actually couldn't tell you. But regardless I'm using the moodboard as just that--a guide for mood, not necessarily exacly how I want it to look.

I have a big gorgeous paper lantern that hangs from the ceiling and I went ahead and punctured it 7-8 times on the move over so I need to do some sort of creative patch job on it before I hang it. absolutely awesome! been putting that job off!

Finally I'll share a horse sticker sheet I am working on. The background isn't done yet, but I think the horses are? Honestly idk if sticker ninja can handle the cutlines I need on this because there isn't going to be much wiggle room and there's 10 stickers total. We'll friggin see I friggin guess
