🍁🍂 Happy October! Sneak Peeks + Sketches 🍁🍂

I hope we all thrive together this month, because we've certainly got the dark autumn vibes going for us. I am sad that my energy has to be focused on my currently projects because I'd love to be creating exclusive October printables and decor all month. I'm staying diligent and somewhat on track until December with my current books, and it's taking all my time and energy. :')
When I get the chance, I work away at for-pleasure pieces such as the second to last image (dark background with the mushrooms). But honestly, since I draw (and sit) nearly all day, I try to take my time off to get outside, move my body, etc. So pleasure pieces unfortunately have to take the sidelines quite a bit more than I'd like.
I hope you are okay with just seeing secret sketches from projects I am working away at for the moment. I promise this won't be the case forever--just for the next few months. Until then though, please enjoy these sneak peeks. After all, nobody else gets to see them except for you and me (and the client, of course) 🤫
Despite my workload I refuse to let my favorite season pass me by! I'm doing everything I can to still celebrate autumn, even if it's just a warm falltime drink, adding pumpkin to everything I eat, watching OTGW, picking my mushroom guides back up, wearing my big orange sweater, etc. Do you have plans for October? Is anybody doing any drawing challenges? What are you being for Halloween?

I'm in love with mushrooms in progress! :O You're right, there is something special about October. I haven't thought about it really. I would love to go for a foraging hunt, but sadly big city isn't really a good place for that. Still hoping to find somewhere a chanterelle or two :) Also I'm having an art block lately but last week decided to make an art piece as a gift for my Partner and it ended up exceeding my expectations - in a good way ofc :) Wishing everyone all the best <3
