Hey folks, I've got some spicy summertime secrets to share with you in this round of exclusive art for your eyes only!
I've been really excited about how everything has been coming together for Brothers In Arms (Wojtek the Bear's book) and although I'm cutting the deadline very very close, I think I can do it! I've decided to change my workflow lately to where I only focus on one project at a time, so I haven't touched Arden High: Twelfth Grade Night in some time (but I still included a page I did a couple weeks ago because it's a fun scene-setter)!
As you know from my previous posts I'm starting to teach myself all about tattooing. My machine actually came in the mail today (I'm saving the unboxing for later after work as a treat) but I still have yet to get ink, sanitary supplies, fake skin/fruit, etc. It'll probably be a little bit before I actually start practicing, because I do have responsibilities and deadlines that I am already quite behind on as it is.
Coming up within the next month will be a post on likeness, aka how to make a drawing of someone look like them while still being stylized. I know I have done a video in the past where I talked through how I try and stylize myself, but I thought it would be nice to refresh and use a face that isn't mine. In this case I will be covering specifically how I went about drawing some of Wojtek's soldier friends (and how I really struggled at first).
As always, clicking through each image in the gallery will give you a short background on each piece. :-) Hope you are having a kick ass beginning of this week!! Talk to you soon!
