Maiasaura - The Good Mother of the Cretaceous

Famous for its remarkable nesting sites, Maiasaura cared for its young long after they hatched, returning to the same colony grounds year after year, evidence of social bonds and complex behavior in dinosaurs. With its duck-bill snout, strong legs and ability to walk on two or four legs, it was well-adapted to grazing on a variety of vegetation.
