Dromaeosaurus

Dromaeosaurus was a small to medium-sized theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period (approximately 76-74 million years ago), belonging to the family Dromaeosauridae, a group often referred to as "raptors." Measuring about 2 meters in length and weighing around 15–20 kg, Dromaeosaurus was a robust predator characterized by a short, deep skull with powerful jaws, sharp serrated teeth and forward-facing eyes that suggest good binocular vision. Unlike its more gracile relatives such as Velociraptor, Dromaeosaurus had a more heavily built body, with strong hind limbs and a large, curved sickle claw on each second toe—likely used for gripping or slashing prey. Its tail was stiffened by elongated bony rods, providing balance and agility during movement. Fossil evidence, primarily from Alberta, Canada, indicates it was a capable hunter, possibly preying on small vertebrates and scavenging as well.

In my upcoming book, an entire section will be dedicated to the Dromaeosaurs and other feathered dinosaurs! These captivating prehistoric creatures will be brought to life with an unparalleled level of realism, immersing you in a journey through time where you’ll come face-to-face with them as if they never went extinct. Every feather, claw and scale will be rendered in stunning detail, blurring the line between ancient past and present reality. Get ready to see these creatures as never before: not as dusty fossils, but as living, breathing animals!
