Fascinating early Russian Prototype 12ga Sabot Round
Added 2025-03-25 23:59:30 +0000 UTCOver three years in the making! It took that long to figure out to make this challenging slug to function using American powders. It would be way too easy to just load something like this hastily and screw it up and blow the opportunity to test such rare pieces.

I believe the rifling was flinging the sabots out pretty uniformly and helping.
