6mm Flobert - Small but Mighty!

Today we test out the smallest and first .22 rimfire rounds ever made.  Sometimes called  .22 BB Cap,  these use just the primer compound to propel them.  It's actually rare to see these actually shot,  I have yet to find a video showing anything but people talking about these rounds.   It's easy to think these rounds are mere toys but they are still very deadly.

6mm Flobert - Small but Mighty!

I have heard that a squirt gun will insta-blast an exposed hot incandescent light bulb like the ones on the ceiling of the basement hallways of my elementary school. I mean, I heard that. It's not like I took out a dozen of them after a field trip before the janitor yelled at me and chased me out of the school. I wouldn't have done that. Nope. Not me.

That was actually VERY surprising. We incorrectly tend to think of these rounds as - effectively - toys, I agree. That they deliver that much of a punch, however, is far greater a level of lethality than you'd think possible for a round powered solely by primer compound.

oh!! I'll check that out right now

Uhm, it'll take out a street light with two shots. Not that I'd know personally, a buddy told me that, back when I was a teenager.
