Darn PERFECT for use as a engine PCV system "catch can". So I think I will be getting myself in that business of making CATCH CANS! See the neat thing is my E class MB diesel needs one to prevent intake manifold from clogging up with carbon.

There are a variety of designs for these "solvent traps". But in all cases, good luck actually getting one. And good luck not blowing it up. I'm sure some of the ½-28TPI threaded models can handle 22LR just fine, 9mm brings on a bit more pressure. 223 uses the same thread diameter. Aluminum isn't going to cut it. Maybe a titanium can will. There are legit 223 cans on the market if you like paying $700+ for the can, and $200 for the tax stamp. Then there's the wait. Processing times for Form-4s can take over a year!
