I saw a video or it was on Mythbusters, the damage of the gasses that escape between the cylender and barrel breach, i.e forcing cone.. They used a hot dog for the demonstration, it was enough to let even a millennial to see what happens. I also know a person that cut the tip of his finger off with an impropper grip in his small frame revolver.

Too bad about the range access, with new blocks of ballistic gel, I would love to see another test of the pvc home defense round from Evan Perry!

I think it would be interesting to show high-speed camera footage of revolvers of various calibers shooting when held within a cylinder made out of printer paper, to show the relative power of the gases escaping between the cylinder face and the beginning of the barrel, with some indication of how much clearance there is between the barrel and cylinder - maybe measured with a feeler gauge. I would guess that a lot of people do not have a feeling for just how much energy is diverted through that gap when a revolver is fired. Of course, being in California, you would probably have to have a CIA and BATFE regiment surrounding you while you held a handgun so that you wouldn't get cancer, scare a spotted owl, or release too much CO2, but I bet the president would commute your sentence anyway.

Vegemite is made from Brewer's yeast after it has been scraped off the fermenting tanks at the Foster's Beer Company. Then they add salt to cover up the dank taste of copper from the tanks. It sucks that you're losing such a prime shooting location. That place is as good as they get.

Too bad about losing the range. We have a public range here on the east coast of Iowa and I call it the wild west because of some of the crazy behavior when there is no range officer present. Good luck finding a new spot.
