UV Identifier Shells - Upcoming video

I got these last year and haven't filmed them yet.   I'm really not looking forward to the mess it will make.   One thing I didn't know what what applications one would use these for.   I can only think of a couple,  so  I am asking you guys if you have any ideas.   The stuff is a BIG mess,  even though it is invisible under normal light.

UV Identifier Shells - Upcoming video

The idea stemmed from a disagreement on a paint color for the living room. Fine, we're going with your color....then tape a stencil on the wall "This color sucks", then blast it with the UV shell.

Stay upwind for one. Possible use in violent crowd control. Easy to ID offenders in hospitals after crowd lears.

Simulate it. load a shell with flour to show dispersion etc. but not as permanent.

Excellent example of Dr. Locard's Exchange (of evidence) Principle. Thanks for all your great work; stay safe! When the going gets weird, glove up, Brother.

PJ Penders

+1 for "hog family multiplication".

I'm going to +1 the notion of OG wearing a bunny suit and setting it off. Also these are perfect for wild game identification, even if the "wild game" is a perp in a mob scene an invader in your house, a deer trail, hog family multiplication and breed tracking.

I think the problem with washing it off is the whole point of the powder. Used as an indicator, a perp entering where he shouldn't, or handling what he shouldn't, and then being covered with this stuff, wouldn't be able to wash it off - it's a long-lived indicator of the person who got tagged. It would be useless if it washed off - except as a curiosity. Let's hope the cops don't pick you up before it wears off!

I could see these used by law enforcement in for identifying individuals involved in violent behavior in large groups of people. Not sure if it's like a little powder filled bean bag or if these just blast out a cloud of dust. If it was a bean bag, it would be easy to identify those hit when police establish a perimeter and catch them as they walk through check points. And since the powder is only UV visible, those people wouldn't have a clue anything was wrong until they got to the check point and could then be detained without endangering anyone else.

Home defense. Like what pepper spray does when used to identify an attacker.

Mutate and survive Dude!
