I do think the boys looked out of their element here, but also they’re used to being literally mobbed at airports and shouted at so idk. Chan is known to protect the kids on set, so im sure he was pissed haha Ive been kind of hoping you would react to more 2 kids show, especially the one thats leeknow and chan with changbin as the host

I agree- I’m sure they all heard and understood enough of that crap to be affected by it! I’m sure they were prepped for what it would be like, but knowing and experiencing it are two different things. Lee Know and Han both said how extremely nervous they were, but they still maintained their composure and posed well! They looked much happier at the top of the stairs away from the “starving hyenas.”

It can come off a bit pretentious, I agree, and the fashion is often meh, but people tend to forget that the Met Gala is first and foremost a fundraiser - a hugely successful one. Designers buy the tickets for celebrities to attend, and that money, at least, goes to a good cause. Also I think it was exciting for them, because their events as a group are usually more with Asian celebs, so here they got a chance to probably meet a lot of people they admire but don't really run into on the regular.

BuzzFeed UK shared a really short video with Chris Hemsworth where he talks about his interaction with Stray Kids at the Met Gala. The boys talked about it too and were absolutely excited about it, calling him ‘Thor Hyung’. Absolutely wholesome.

After the fact, several of them did come online and talk about how exciting it was so it sounds like they had a good time, but they did seem a bit uncomfortable here. The culture is probably so different than at korean & japanese events and they haven’t been to a ton of American events so I bet it’s super intimidating! What I loved is that in some other clips you can see Chan lead them out kinda right after those photographers were being disrespectful🤝 Also, if you wanted to check out Felix walking the runway at the LV women’s show on your own or on camera— https://youtu.be/G1I86eSKXfA?si=piXUfAYpUX77gELR that’s a really cool fashion moment for him🫡

Hey, Max! The Met Gala always seems highly pretentious to me. While it may be an honor to be invited, the highly talented invitees appear reduced to mannequins for mostly over-the-top not very creative designs. And I agree SKZ, who are used to being photographed at huge events, looked uncharacteristically uncomfortable. My guess is everyone did understand the rude demands and comments. Yay for Bang Chan!
