DPR IAN x Zach Sang - First Reaction (Uncut: 1.5 Hours)

A fantastic interview. DPR IAN talks candidly about his bipolar disorder, how HE relates to it, and how it relates to his music. Super fascinating conversation. My first time checking him out and think I'd like to look into some of his music now.

Hey can you watch Jessi on Psick show? I think it would be interesting to see your analysis:)

Adelle Cohen

Yeah he's so humble and so nice!

Nina

Yeah that's sad... it's probably because it's 2 hours long

Nina

omg I would LOVE if he reacted to that interview, it’s definitely the best one out there and I never see people check it out!

Taylor

And it's so amazing this moment came about for Anitra by simply saying in her music video reaction "I would love to interview Ian" and he reached out lol. He's such an amazing guy.

KPOP Stan Sara

Hello! I love this reaction and I would love you to react to the interview he had with a fan It's the most interesting one till now because he also talks about his Dissociative identity disorder (in short he has multiple personalities and one of them is Mito!) , he shared this with us not long ago (he didn't want to talk about it before because he felt ashamed...) It's 2 hours long but I promise you It's worth it! https://youtu.be/YLgOO-cq-ss?si=49nyAaWh4NVGGYFF

Nina

I’d recommend Chris or Nicks episode on Zach Sang 👍

Mia Fisher

I loved this video! Hope you react to more Ian in the future!

Taylor

Also, I’m pretty sure he only mentions his bipolar disorder in this but he’s recently talked about the fact that he’s been diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder around ten years ago as well. I think this is very vivid in his music videos and also the different “personas” he spoke about in this video :’)

The street casting that Christian described is super common for idol companies, some even camp outside of schools (sounds super creepy I know) in hopes of seeing someone with visuals that fits the company’s vision. So It’s totally visual based up until the actual audition where they have to show what they can do. I know casting on social media has gotten more common as well. There are tons of accounts from idols saying they’ve run away from or turned down offers from street casting agents because they thought they were scams (which is very valid ahah)

YESSS pls continue reacting to him!!

-Just on the kpop side you touched on at the beginning-If you remember: BTS Jin and SKZ Hyunjin were both street casted based on looks with no prior experience or intentions of being kpop idols! It’s not uncommon at all for visual members especially; there’s actually kind of a stigma of “untalented visuals” because of this (not because of Jin and Hyunjin— just companies debuting visual members for looks over talent). I think as long as they don’t stick out negatively skills wise, kpop relies on aesthetics enough to want to debut at least 1 eye catching member to gather public interest.. and it works. They need the full package for a group I guess. Talented vocalists, visuals, dancers, sometimes rappers, and likeable personalities to cover all their bases for possible audience interest. And for saturation’s sake, you watched BTS celebrate their 100 day anniversary.. because most idol groups don’t make it that far. Making it past 1 year as an idol group is a miracle. Just another reason why groups make a deal out of each yearly milestone. They don’t take it for granted because they know how competitive it is. l -Christian (formerly “Rome”) was the leader of C-clown and they were together for 3 years (‘12-‘15: 3rd gen), and they were never really big, but they weren’t doing bad either. Doesn’t seem like there was a clear reason why they broke up, but it’s not unusual for groups that don’t get really popular to disband early— whether their companies don’t find them worth investing more into or a mutual agreement to put their time elsewhere if it’s not picking up enough.

WonaldWuck

Can’t watch this just yet, but his music is seriously fantastic👏👏 love his work but have never really checked him out, so I’m looking forward to getting the time to watch this here!! Edit: really really fascinating interview. Really like his personality and it’s wonderful to hear someone with his struggles open up like this and give a picture of how his disorder is channeled into his art. I’ll for sure be looking into him and appreciating his work even more now:)
