But if we mask our true personalities, we'll never feel fully connected to the world. The world won't see our true essence nor will it be gifted with our potential.
By not being yourself, you're not only doing a disservice to yourself... but also to the world.
Remember, by you just being you -- this alone -- can be deeply inspiring to many.

Thank you and the universe for posting and bringing this thought to the fore right when I was thinking that something hard might be easier if I masked harder. But it is hard when you feel left behind or less than.

2023-08-06 23:53:20 +0000 UTCThis really hit me today bc I’ve been struggling with my friend not excepting and cheering on me. I feel like they always are expecting something more when I’m just trying to love me in the present. It’s been so hard on my self esteem. I think my friends are coming from a good place but it’s not helpful. Especially bc I work hard daily to be a champion for them.
