2023-03-20 05:01:59 +0000 UTCCompletely agree about this video, because many people making compilations tend to focus on Jimin being affectionate and caring towards JK, but it's actually pretty 50/50. And JK being this caring, soft and even scolding Jimin who's 2 years older, is one of the most interesting things about their dynamic. Jimin even said "being scolded by jungkook" is one of his hobbies. And he likes JK acting older than him and taking care of him even though he IS 2 years older AND can easily take care care of himself, I mean he's a freaking black belt.

It’s getting worse and worse to the point where even death threats targeting at him. During busan concert, I saw an Instagram post by a toxic shipper saying that someone should kill jimin and his dad if they see them in busan concert. And that account has 700 followers. The account was reported by people but it’s so ridiculous how much hate he is getting. He got hate for wearing a necklace that has army on it, he got hate for going to USA to support jhope last year saying he is being an attention seeker, recently both jimin and hobi donated for Turkish relief and jimin alone got hate saying that he done that for attention. Even writing these I’m thinking like how ridiculous this is but this has been going on for years. He used to be so active on social media but from 3-4 years ago, he stepped back and became the least active. (In a way I’m glad he stepped away from all the negativity). Recently, he is again really active and so happy. Im glad to see him being really content these days and enjoying what he is doing.

The hate towards Jimin is atrocious. It’s ridiculous that even though I haven’t explored that many discussions online, I’ve come across terrible comments and ill wishes towards him multiple times. At first I chalked this up to the internet making things feel much more magnified when negative until I actually saw this guy booing and flipping him off during the recent “Yet To Come” concert in cinemas. I was completely shocked at this person’s behavior. I guess because it confirmed the fear that there are these actual hateful people out there living among us. Very sad.

I think You’re right they get something from each other, Jimin can be effectionate with him and teach him things, but I also think Jungkook likes being affectionate with Jimin too. You should see the videos of them comforting each other onstage. JK is my bias and Jimins my bias wrecker so I love their bond. Of course I love all the guys special bond as well.

You're right that jimin loves the attention and jungkook has a huge soft spot for him so they're always playing around, attached at the hip 😄 And we see that the most in the behind the scenes and it's become a joke too, like surprise surprise who is that in the back clinging to each other lol. And it's just another tuesday for the rest of the members and staff, no one bats an eye because it's so normal. But yeah all of bts is like in love with each other and it's so wholesome to see, these two are just especially glued to each other

What they have, whatever it is, is truly something really special. And sadly a lot of the hate coming towards jimin especially (like the death threats in 2018, 2019 and many since) is because people don't like it.

2023-03-18 13:00:17 +0000 UTCHi! I’m kind of new here. I love listening to your analysis of people and their relationships. I tend to agree with a lot of your takes. I entered this fandom pretty recently and partly due to a fascination of the relationship of these two. I’m not sure what it is but I’ve never seen two people love each other so much to the point where I feel comforted by it. I feel like whatever "love" is supposed to mean, regardless of the type of relationship, they represent it. Regarding your comment about JK being overwhelmed by Jimin’s affection, I just wanted to mention that he was not comfortable with Jimin’s affectionate moves towards him in their earlier years. That only changed when Jimin pulled away and JK began missing his attention and started his mischievous behavior towards him which led to them becoming close again. Now they have a very balanced playful and loving relationship with each other equally from both sides. They have mentioned many times that they are very similar and understand each other very well. They even have an ongoing saying "you are me, I am you" which is a lyric from Jimin’s song "Serendipity". There are great youtube compilation videos on their relationship’s evolution. It’s very cute. As Julie mentioned, the channel BestOfJikook makes great compilations without fancy editing and sound effects.
