hey max! tbh this podcast is just so good, and i think you’d enjoy watching all of them. each episode is a different year in order so the whole series is a retelling of their journey.

Hey! Could you please watch another p1harmony interview? I would love for you to watch a longer video like Zach sang or Eric nams video with the whole group

Oh I'm sorry I missed this! Can't wait to watch. Do you think you'll do more of them? There's some really interesting stories and their dynamic / affect is kind of fascinating so can't wait to here what you think of that! I thought streams were mostly K-pop but I've got to pay more attention!

Loved your reaction! I only discovered them in 2019 but have been a huge fan since then. Your perspectives on the dynamic of the band and individual personalities were interesting. They definitely have the same sarcastic sense of humor and like to tease each other, but always with an underlying sense of respect and care for one another that only develops over time. They really are brothers and have said as much. I would love seeing you continue to react to this podcast series with 2012 as the next year. If you want a more recent interview here is a good one from NME: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO6fCYaJRb0 Thanks! 😊

yeah i would love to see what he thinks of the later episodes too

Loved this! You asked when we got into 5sos and what it was like in the fandom around those early years. I always remember this so vividly because I had vaguely heard of 5sos before this moment but never listened to their music. So there I am, watching the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and 5sos start performing She Looks So Perfect. Me, 18 and into heavier pop punk music, was not having it and barely paid attention. But when I say that song was somehow stuck in my head for literally 4 days??? Like, I could not have a moment of peace without my brain going "heyyyy ayee ayee" So I finally gave up and searched the music video on Youtube and that was literally it for me. I was pretty into Tumblr at the time and they had a huge fandom presence on there. A lot of my BTS mutuals on Twitter are friends I've had since 2014 in our 5sos days. I remember it being so weird that I knew they were big online but it was as if no one I spoke to irl ever knew them and I think that made everyone in their fandom at the time so much more passionate about them making it big. I know we give a lot of credit to Kpop (and BTS in particular) for making physical albums relevant again but the very first album i bought with my own money was the Somewhere New EP by 5sos. I found it in an HMV in Canada while I was there for university and couldn't believe that they had it in stock. Anyway, I'm rambling bc I have a lot of fond memories of 5sos' early years and their relationship with their fans during that time - You should check out some livestreams and keeks (kind of what tik tok is now) they made around then!
