Yoongi is not good with taking compliments. He's always been like that. It's so cute seeing him squirm every time.

The Zach Sang interview with 7 members in case it isn’t showing, because it isn’t showing for me. https://youtu.be/siWwIyoXDFs

I would really love to recommend Monsta X. They’ve been around a long time and are an older group, much like BTS, but feel even more mature. They used to have 7 members but now have 6 after a member was forced to leave due to malicious rumors (which were investigated and proven false). That member is a soloist named Wonho who you should also definitely check out. He is a genuine and amazing guy. Monsta X are like a family and are really comfortable with each other.

I think it's a little self important to assume that everyone except you was cheering for shallow reasons. We cheered hard for every member when they came on screen, especially during intense moments in the performance, or in between their segments during the ending ment because these people we love and cherish were on the screen!!! Giving it their all and being vulnerable!!! We knew it was just a movie, not the real deal, but that love and the need to encourage them was still there, so we screamed.

I am enjoying Suchwita so much. I hope he keeps doing it for as long as he can. Yesterday Jimin did a WeverseLive and mentioned liking the show. He mentioned Hoshi fumbling to get the ice into Yoongi's glass and said he was cute doing it that he burst out with laughter. I can imagine all 6 are a fan of the Suchwita. Thank you Max, this was a treat. 💜

when suga mentioned music being memory it reminded me of how i recently went to the yet to come concert in theater. ( i would like to mention that i have been a kpop fan since 2015 and since then i have been army but i am not as much army i was back when i was younger. mostly bc iam an adult now, don´t have that much time now and i am enjoying 4th gen a lot more than 3rd gen mostly bc they have on average my age group) in the theater were mostly younger newer fans and while watching the concert everyone was going crazy over single members or handsome moments but i didnt react to that at all. i was just enjoying the music and when young forever came on i got really emotional i almost cried. but i was seemingly the only one reacting emotional and not screaming at their looks. When the last speech came i actually started bawling out my eyes and then the last songs started playing and i was crying all through the last 20 min i think bc i remembered all the memories and my life through the years with bts helping through hard times. I am not a full time army anymore but my emotinal connection to the members and the music is still there. even if i don´t watch all their content the love and respect never left.

Don't call me.

I was so charmed by how earnest hoshi was lol it was so sincere and sweet. I found it very entertaining that he literally did not drink unless yoongi was also drinking haha. This episode was so sweet. I just really love yoongi in this show. Having a meaningful connection with another person just seems so important to him and it’s infectious. All around good vibes and thanks for another wonderful reaction max

Just for some more cultural context, in Korean culture, it is also an important manner the older one offers the younger ones to feel less formal/feel more comfortable first. So basically younger one shows respect, and then the older one would appreciate it and allow them to relax a bit. (of course not everyone does it, especially the ones who think the age is their power)

Also the convo about the inevitable break isn't really about the groups breaking up or them doing their own thing just for fun, it's more about the enlistment break. Groups pretty much take a break and they don't work as their group since members will be missing. As we know BTS are going through that right now, some doing some solo projects before they go too, and for SVT that break is approaching soon and so that's what he means by them going 1 by 1 too, the eldest ones will go before him so what will he do? Once he goes and comes back more still have to go after him, what will he do in that time? Suga could relate since that's what's happening with BTS but also since that's their current journey he can't really offer advice.... that was such an interesting convo to me between them.

I love the Suchwita series so much, we always get really wonderful conversations and interactions no matter the dynamic Yoongi has with the guest. These two are also great contrasts with Suga being very laid back and Hoshi being the eager and happy person in the room. It even got me a bit emotional when they started talking about the military service break, until Hoshi's flustered ice serving made me laugh as well haha.

Regarding calling him 'hyung', it actually feels closer than what he'd been doing at first which was calling him 'sunbaenim' (senior). Hyung is for being older in age, sunbaenim a senior in their field. So by saying 'you can call me Hyung', Suga is basically telling him to not worry about seniority in the industry and treat him as a friend who's older, rather than thinking of the work hierarchy.
