I’m not a fan of the other groups so I can’t speak on their bond or whatever but what Seventeen have is really special. The other comments already go into it but I just want to talk about the fondness they have for each other. You never feel like it’s forced or whatever they’re really just /that/ close. Even after their dorm lease or whatever ended and their CEO suggested they each live on their own, they still all chose to keep living together (in segments). That’s so crazy to me. Rather than move out and get a place of their own they like moved into a different unit with a group of members like what! It’s so rare in Kpop i don’t even know any other group that is currently doing it. Especially because they’re considered a senior group now, it’s really rare to still be dorming. Another thing that has to be mentioned is how they were able to renew as a full group. I want to stress how difficult it is for a group—especially one with 13 members!—to all renew. Groups with way less members, especially groups with foreign members, typically don’t renew as a full group; and renewal contracts are usually only for 3 years, but Seventeen renewed not only as a full group but for a full 7 years. That’s seriously crazy. It’s unheard of. Contract renewal is always such a taboo thing to talk about and it’s just so sensitive and difficult but Seventeen talked about it a couple times already and they were so honest about the whole process that it wasn’t deciding to stay together as a group that was difficult but it was mediating the terms with the company and stuff. They were always sure they wanted to stay together. Even going into the contract renewal meetings with the company, instead of talking to the executives one-on-one they all decided to go into the meetings together. That kind of determination (and honestly stubbornness) to stick together is so special. The members also talk about it a lot, that being an idol is you know a difficult job and it’s not something that can be sustained just by ambition or whatever. For a lot of the members, they really just do it out of loyalty to their members and their fans. Scoups, the leader, is probably the most outspoken about this, always saying things like “It’s not the company that’s important to me. It’s the members and carats.” Maybe you could react to “Goblin Who Steals Wisdom” where they talk about their journey from debut to contract renewal! It really lets people peek into how they got to where they are now and is a really interesting mix of serious and emotional and funny. They provided some predebut clips too for contrast. Highly recommended i think it might be fun if you also watched some of seventeen’s older stuff! just to see how different they are from now. personally i recommend 17 project (you should be able to find it on youtube) it’s a sort of “survival” show they did predebut where they had to prove they were worthy to debut. very interesting to see the beginnings of their journey and i think puts into perspective a lot of things with respect to their dynamic and bond.

Would love to see more of your thoughts on the girls of Le Sserafim!

You should check out Felix and Bangchan on the Daebak show. It’s an interview fully in English and the setting is really comfortable and you can really see their dynamic through it. The interviewer is Eric Nam who is an absolute legend in Korea. https://youtu.be/DrFzn0sUetw And of course eventually check out the two kids room with bang chan and felix. The aussie boys!

I agree with you on Seventeen having one of the strongest bonds as a group, I truly haven't seen that level of sincerity in any of the other groups I follow. And it's kind of funny because they're not exactly the most "sentimental" group, but they have the most real relationship, like when they bicker, they literally act like siblings, they love to annoy and tease each other, but at the end of the day you can see how supportive they're of each other and also how close they are. It would be interesting if you react to their 7th Anniversary special (https://youtu.be/KiIfte6NpHc), that's a more honest and serious conversation (which is not their usual mood). As always, I enjoyed this reaction!

Another suggestion for Enhypen reaction “Enoclock ep 39 “ https://youtu.be/BBNN8i4DKso they work at a coffee shop, so it’s showcase their group dynamic but also how they interact with clients.
