BlackMarket Update

What's happening currently

It is now 15th August, which means chapters will begin to release today on schedule. You can expect minimum daily chapter/s starting from today.

The last week has seen a lot of flux and changes due to well everything that's been happening.

I am still banned on RoyalRoad. It has been already explained in the set of posts on Notice.

Free chapters will upload on Scribblehub. Currently, Patreon is 85 chapters ahead of Scribblehub.

I am currently in talks with publishers to potentially publish BlackMarket on the Amazon, though the deal has yet to be solidified.

I previously mentioned that I was doing an edit pass of BlackMarket - I still am. 

However, it takes up a lot of time as I am using a combination of RoyalRoad comments, #error-police from the discord, Grammarly and TTS to get awkward sayings out of the way. Timeline readjustment to make things more believable is also taking some time everyday.

On average, I can maybe edit 5-20 chapters a day post-work hours.

Right now, I am aiming to do the best edit(note: not rewrite) of BlackMarket that I can. All changelogs will be posted on #edit-changelog on discord, with each chapter having its own individual thread for easier navigation.

This means for the next ten days or so, chapter rate will drop to one a day, two where possible. This is dependent on my editing speed, and the most notorious part to edit would be chapter 120 onwards (war arc). Consider this my effort to get the book onto Amazon with a bang. 

Nothing is set in stone yet, so everything is still moving in flux. 

What's happening in the future

BlackMarket will eventually be stubbed next year, seeing as I am unable to post on RoyalRoad any longer. 

A reminder of the blackout date of 22nd Sept to 14th October. On 22nd September I will be pausing billing. This means you will not be charged for one month starting from 22nd September. I find it slightly unfair to charge people for me going on a honeymoon, so that's that. 

I previously announced Project Princess, the supposed next fiction in the work. And I had also previously announced Ceres Chaos rewrite on Discord, supposed to launch next week.

I have decided to put both on indefinite hold and focus all my efforts on editing and writing new chapters for BlackMarket.

Again, a big thank you to everyone who have stuck with me. Again, if you want a refund, let me know ASAP before 31st August. I know I was supposed to release a chapter on 7th August 2023 itself, so today on Patreon will have an extra chapter to make up for it.
