Quick Update on Story Heading

Warning: Spoilers ahead. Do not read if you are not caught up to Chapter 157.

The last time I've done a story update was during the end of the writeathon.

The Versia War obviously was quite a clusterfuck. The outcome and goals were all planned from the start, but the actions and intentions of each party were made to be as logical as possible. As such, there was a lot of back and forth between actors that made it even tougher for Kyle to win easily.

I am aware of a few plot holes and will dedicate a few days of my quarantine to tightening up the story (it's really fluff and dragging in some places). One good example is the lack of foreshadowing of the religious cult of Nona. I wanted to have them appear in Chapter 80 or so but found it hard to weave into the story at that point. Another example would be the timescale of the whole conflict, as well as the training of ADCON.

The next phase of the story will involve the conflict in Raktor. Various parties are at play here, which will make this quite convoluted and confusing. The main influence for this phase is various urban battles in the modern era as well as continued civil unrest in many asian or african countries. They serve my main point of reference for how various parties can fight for control or dominion.

Not every war is won by sheer force or soldiers. Food, medicine, housing, safe drinking water all plays a part in this upcoming conflict, and of course, the black market.

A few key lingering points we want to tackle in the upcoming phase.

1. Why is the Duke or the Emperor not intervening in Raktor? What is exactly happening in the Yual Dominon for the responses to be so lackluster?

2. What is the endgoal of the Wardens?

3. Who are the Wardens fighting both underground and aboveground, and why are they so afraid of exposing themselves?

4. Kyle's continued growth in mastery of arcia energy.

5. Version 1 exosuit.

6. Re-exploration of the Keru's Forest Dungeon.

7. Count Leon's revenge.

8. What lies beyond the Great Waves?

9. What is the Prophet's Trial?

New locations to be explored includes : Proco, Josei.

Future Locations: Tryas, other cities in the Yual Dominion, Hwa Dynasty, other vassal states of the Hwa Dynasty.

The Raktor Phase is expected to last for approximately thirty-to-forty chapters. This would also include Kyle's personal training arc, where he dedicates himself to ensuring he can kill the cult's elder when he comes.

Beyond that, it will be the Yual Dominion phase,  the conflict with the Wardens, and the historical truth of the planet after.
