If you're after a Windows machine I recommend going directly to the Microsoft website and check out their computer sales. You just might find a really good deal and hassle-free. I got a great deal on my Lenovo that way and the thing is robustly built and lightning fast. I've spec'd and built machines myself since the '80s, from personal units to server farms and specialty systems (got a few degrees and professional certs) and unless you want something really specific it's not worth the hassle of building a system yourself anymore, and certainly not cost-effective.
