Actually, loved the freecreditreport.com jingle too. Even though it's just a blip I also always join in on the Farmers We are Farmers - bump, de bump bump, bump -bump -bump. One I detest is without a doubt 1-877 Cars For Kids.

I have two faves: one is for an airline flying people to the tropics. Don't ask me which airline though - I just remember the line, "don't forget your scuba/we've a date in Aruba." (Wow the power of memory: hearing that line in my head instantly brought up the name: Trans-Carribbean Air.) My second favorite is from Kirin Beear: "It's Kirin/when you're beerin.'" (Poetry, sheer poetry.) Now a jingle that drives me up a wall? Y'know, I can't think of one at the moment, I must've blocked them from my mind. (I try to watch as little commercial tv as possible.)

Good Morning World, Levi's stop-motion commercial, Fig Newton Chewy, Chewy, Chewy Dance Song, Crazy Eddie Doo-Wop When You Think You're Ready ,Great Bear, Driving Down the Highway word poem, are just from the top of my aged head! Trying to think of the jingles I dislike has only summoned the Kars for Kids earworm, so I'm Out!!! Game Over, Man!!!

The Frosted Flakes jingle is pretty good for firing me up, even tho I never ate the cereal. I've forgotten what my least favorite jingle was advertising. Just know that it came out in that period when ads were annoying on purpose to maximize awareness.

I absolutely detest the jingle for Liberty Mutual Insurance. Even though it's only the word Liberty repeated several times, it's worse than any thirty second piece. My favorite might be Burgermeister beer from decades ago, just because my grandma freaked out when she heard my 8 year old twin cousins singing it.

Perhaps because I actually have been a part-time opera singer, I have a certain affection for J. G. Wentworth 877-CASH-NOW. On the other hand, I used to cover my ears and run out of the room whenever, “Hi-ho! Hey-Hey! Chew your little troubles away” for Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum came on. I kept wondering what it would sound like to the parents of four little girls in Birmingham.

OMG, I never saw those commercials! They're brilliant! When I was very young I hated the Frito Bandito song. At the end of the commercial, the bandito says that now that you've sung it, you're a Frito Bandito too. But ... I couldn't get the song out of my head. I kept singing it to myself. And I hated Fritos and I didn't want to be a Frito Bandito!
