The record-breaking longest-running comic by a single creator: The Knights of the Dinner Table, by Jolly Blackburn. It's a bunch of role-players, and they bicker a lot. It's witty, it's cute, it's low-stakes.

FilloryCitrus

Dragonheart with Dennis Quaid as the less-than-noble knight and Sean Connery voicing the dragon. Sort of a send-up of the genre, half serious and wholly fun.

Yer pal Mikey

The Last Unicorn. The book. I'd love to see a live action remake. It would need to be cgi heavy.

Overton Hallford

Game of Thrones, crash and burn ending and all.

Freezer

LOL. Of course.

My Cage

I've used this joke since I could drive. :D

My Cage

The Glory Road by Heinlein; Three Hearts and Three Lions by Poul Anderson; or The Dragon and the George by Gordon Dickson or The Unbeheaded King by L. Sprague de Camp, or, wow, there's a lot!

J.E. Melton

Does Disney's Sword in the Stone count? It's a got a sword (in the stone) and plenty of sorcery when Merlin and Mim have a go at it.

JoeStrike

Larry Niven's ''The Magic Goes Away'' books. Have never seen an S&S TV show or movie that I really liked.

Jon Benson

“Taliessin Through Logres” and “The Region of the Summer Stars”, by Charles Williams.

John W. Kennedy

Farhrd and the Grey Mouser series by Fritz Leiber. It was the first sword and sorcery series i discovered by myself and holds a place in my memory for that reason.

This is the best answer to speed bumps. I love it!
