British ex-military in India fought a private war with the crews of several German ships and destroyed at least one. -- At the other end of the world, Channel Islanders smuggled a prize cow out of the Nazi-occupied islands, transporting the beautiful bovine to England in a rowboat to help found a new line of dairy cattle! -- Meanwhile, a German banana boat played havoc with the British and Australian navies in the Indian Ocean. -- Any of the three stories would make a good movie. :)
