Guess who killed free higher education in CA. Go on, guess... Ronald fucking Reagan. When he was governor, university students were protesting the Vietnam war. He was incensed by this and thought "Those ungrateful, fucking brats. They should be learning how to be mindless drones. I know how to fix this, make them pay for it." He had the anti-Midas touch. Everything he touch had the value sucked out of it.

Itβs a non-profit model that helps seniors and disabled folks stay in their homes and communities longer by providing things like rides to doctor appointments and grocery stores, as well as things like minor handyman jobs - all provided by regular people in the community, like your dad. My mom is currently creating a Village in her area, but theyβre all over the country.
