We weren't sticking up for them. We were saying making fun of MTG for reading poorly aloud makes people who read poorly aloud feel self conscious. We aren't sticking up for trump - we watched a video and don't think he "froze" as if there is something wrong with him. We thought he was waiting until the music stopped. False narratives don't help anyone. Neither of us like these people at all - but there are a lot of good reasons to not like them instead of making something up.

Will we feel great with our moral high ground when Trump is president and rolls back the clock on democracy? I'm purely hypothesizing and genuinely curious if you have thought about this. 20% of Americans believe Biden is responsible for overturning Roe. A significant portion of people from the same poll believe that Trump did better for the economy. What is the plan to combat this? I seriously have no idea. I hate the state of misinformation but if we had the chance to make fun of Hitler or make up gaffs that are half truths is that also not a moral imperative? I'm an idiot. Please treat me as such.
