We had a regular who would always come sit at the bar and shoot the shit with us while having some lunch. Really nice guy. One day, I’m talking to him and hand him his usual personal pan. He takes a bite and pulls a USED BANDAID out of his mouth. There were about six pizza staff working that day and no one ever copped to it. The other happened during college dollar beer night. I check in with some friends while running beers and a buddy finishes her drink, makes a weird face, and pulls this thin disk-shaped quarter-sized piece of glass of out of her mouth. When the dish staff were stacking pint glasses, they must’ve knocked the base of one of them just right to flake off a piece of glass into the pint below it, which was then filled with beer. I don’t miss food service…
