“A Christmas Story” is good but it’s the 2nd best Christmas movie that Bob Clark made. The 1st is of course “Black Christmas”. Y’all might also like “The Day of the Beast” it’s a Spanish film about a Catholic priest, a metal head, and a cable access psychic trying to stop the anti-Christ from being born on Christmas. It’s wild and darkly funny.

And the only reason he was able to get it so relatively cheap was that the guy who had originally ordered it reneged on paying the last money for it, so the person who sewed it sold it to my friend at a little bit of a discount.

2023-12-29 15:15:44 +0000 UTCI'm along time listener, going back near the beginning of the podcast. I'm also a furry. Great to hear the bit about running into furries at Midwest Furfest (MFF). MFF is one of the largest furry conventions along side Furry Weekend Atlanta (FWA) in Georgia, and Anthrocon in Pennsylvania. Also, yes fursuits are extremally expensive. I have a fursuit head and that cost over a $1,000. An average full fursuit can easily be $3,000-$5,000. A full digigrade fursuit can go over $10,000. Some very high end fursuits from select makers can even go over $15,000. Furries are walking around wearing something as much as a car.

The outside is the biggest emptiness you can fathom and the inside is a tight can that you can't escape from (without dying at least). Also, I want to send every single world leader up to space. All of em. Seeing the earth from space tends to change a person's perspective on things. And the bad ones can have accidents that are totally believable.

2023-12-28 17:03:53 +0000 UTCI got a buddy who worked as a bouncer at a strip club in Seattle in the 90s. One night he was standing out front and he heard some noise coming from nearby. He walked over to check it out and there was a very drunk/high dude doing carnal activities with a dead racoon. When my buddy confronted him the guy threw the dead raccoon at him and ran off. We didn't believe him until one day he showed us a copy of the police report. There are worse things that pooping on a dead possum.
