Tarantulas are where I draw the line. Nope. I'd go for a stick bug or a beetle, though. I got to hold a chinchilla over the holiday, and that made my day. I asked the furry I know if they get hot in their fursuit during the pride parade. They said they keep camelback style water in the costumes, but yeah. Very hot.

2023-12-28 14:21:14 +0000 UTCOK I have to say this out of all rodent type creatures you want there to be a possum because not only do they kill all the gross bugs that you hate, but they literally cannot get rabies like they just can't get them and they are very skittish and you don't really see any of them attacking people like raccoons. Raccoons are fucking assholes by the way. But mostly possums do what goats do when they're frightened, they pretend to be dead so they may not look all that cuddly and cute but they're actually really really really gentle creatures, and they are probably the least worrisome creatures that you could find in your Christmas tree
