Opinion Poll: Anal Sex Options?
Added 2022-10-04 16:23:22 +0000 UTCFrom the get-go, Sanctuary in Time has been a celebration of strong, beautiful women. In this world, the women join you voluntarily, there are no non-consensual options, and if their Devotion falls low enough, they will even stop obeying your instructions.
The duty assignment of Courtesan (which could have been quite raunchy) is conducted with dignity and elegance, being less a prostitute and more a cross between a Jedi Knight and a classical Greek priestess. While female muscular strength (particularly in combat assignments) is mentioned and celebrated far more than it would be in most games.
With that focus in mind, it was one of my design goals to avoid activities and/or depictions that might overly disempower those strong, beautiful women. So, options such as gagging oral (which I've always found distasteful) and anal sex (which is often depicted in a degrading manner) were never on the table. However, I do recognize that anal sex can be depicted in a way that's not strictly degrading or disempowering, and that quite a few people might enjoy its inclusion. So, I'm curious as to how popular the option might be.
I can't guarantee I'll include the option, but if it proves popular enough, I might. And if I do so, I would find a way that remains consistent with the overall tone of the rest of the game, e.g. celebrating our strong, beautiful women, rather than degrading them.
